Tomorrow, June 11, 2023 The City of Bexley is hosting a ribbon cutting for our natural dog park at 3:00PM. Located down the path at the bottom of the sledding hill at Schneider OR you can access it by entering the trail at the Gateway parking lot on Main St. and walking south on on the wooded trail.
City arborists spent a lot of time down here, clearing hazards, chipping fallen limbs and certainly dumping and spreading wood chips. This is where all the wood chips we have made during pruning, removals and storm damage have been dumped over the last 6 months. Which is cool because the trees that had to be cut down were kind of given a second life. Our arborists are proud of this “new” space they helped to create for Bexley residents and surrounding communities. So, bring your dog and a tennis ball and enjoy your local dog park tomorrow.
